FAMILY-CENTERED COLLABORATIVE CARE FOR PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC MENTAL ILLNESS: A NARRATIVE LITERATURE REVIEW

Introduction Chronic mental illnesses are long-lasting and recurring, require continuous care as well an integrated collaborative approach to organize the care. This study sought examine whether family center is acceptable treatment option for individuals with chronic illness. Objectives Is family-centered suitable patients illness? Methods From years 2000 2021, ten electronic databases relating illness were searched adopting PRISMA’s checklist Results After systematic search, 27 articles a thesis found. According moderate high quality qualitative research, was considered intervention, though few studies supporting it. Conclusions examines theoretical, methodological, practical considerations basis more robust data collection based on individual experiences evidence-based practice. Reference(s) 1.
